• from the international airport of Lyon St Exupéry :

Take the highway A43 direction Lyon. After about 2 km change for the highway A46 direction St Etienne. You then follow the A47 direction St Etienne again. Not far from St Chamond you join the main road N88 direction Firminy / Le Puy en Velay.

La Séauve-sur-Semène lyes about 10 km after Firminy. Take the exit called La Chapelle d’Aurec / La Séauve-sur-Semène (2nd exit after the viaduc). At the first roundabout, take the first exit on the right; then at the first roundabout, take the last exit named « Les Portes du Velay ». At that point, take the first road on the right.

• from the railway stations Lyon Perrache and Lyon Part-Dieu :

You can either travel further by train to St Etienne Chateaucreux and then by taxi for the remaining 30 kms.
Or hire a car and take the highway A7 direction Givors / St Etienne / Clermont. You then join the A47 direction St Etienne. Follow the directions above .
